Dinan's CEO's personal M5 up for sale?

http://www.dinancars.com/bmw/cars-for-sale

I stumbled o this last week Has the company hit hard times or has the renowned BMW tuner learned something about a BMW M5 tobe released?

I would go wit the later cause the M5 has been with us now for 5 years and staying with BMW's tradition it will be replaced in in its 6th so expect in 2012 to see a new iteration of BMW's 5 series and M5! But also expect it to loose it' un-echo high reving V10 motor. We will most likely see a high reving V8 mated with a twin turbo system and making about 600hp to the wheels.. But there is hope for the V10 the new 7 Series will be fitted with a V12 twin turbo system so as it goes for BMW they tend to have 2 more max cylinders per series of cars... ie 1 series max cylinders 6 3 series max cylinders 8 so 5 series will have max of 10 and the 7 series having a max of 12... lets all pray for that V10!

Ok Its Official The Hennessey Venom GT Is Real!

Hennessey Venom GT!!!!! that car will RAPE everything on the market cause as you know hennessey is know for making run-of -the-mill sports cars in to cats that destroy bugattis like the 1200hp viper that is found to be more reliable than the Veyron! so here it goes lotus exige + 1000 Corvette ZR1 twin turbo motor = 0-60 of 2.2 seconds and top speed in the range of 260mph!!!!!!!!!! and most likely costing around $300,000 bucks!!!!!

Ok here are a little speculation on its road going specs:

Motor:

Chevrolet® Corvette® LS-9

( The motor will retain its Super Charger but will gain the added benefit of a Twin Turbo Charger system that will likely resemble that of Hennessey’s® Viper® systems ).

Aluminum Block Twin Cam 32 Valve with a 7400RPM Redline.

Is not clear yet how it will be mounted beyond it being Mid-engined but with the addition of 12 inches to the front and rear width it maybe mounted transversely ( From right to Left opposed to the more typical front to back ) but do to fabrications cost of building a whole new transmission just for the car ( Cause no aftermarket company currently makes a transmission that can be mated to the LS-9 motor if it is transversely and to keep cost down one would assume Hennessey® would continue to barrow other parts from other companies ).

Horse Power:

1000-1200

(Depending on if they are aiming to match or destroy their European revivals)

Ft-Lb of Torque:

900-1000

Weight:

It was claimed by Hennessey® six months ago that it will weigh around 2800 pounds and this is still very likely cause the car is only two feet longer and a foot wider and the motor (LS-9) only being 400 some odd pounds heavier that figure will be likely. Hennessey® Will be aiming for a perfect 50/50 weight distribution to maintain the Exige® based car’s renowned handling.

Width:

80 Inches (12 More than a normal Exige®.)

Length:

173 Inches (24 More than a normal Exige®.)

Height:

45 Inches (Assumed one inch drop front and rear for improved high speed stability.)

Brakes:

The Venom GT® will be fitted with carbon brakes as standard most likely from AP Racing®

Fronts will be 15in Carbon disks fitted with 8 pot calipers and the rears will be 14in carbon disks with six pot calipers. (These are the best brakes you can get from AP Racing®. This may change if StopTech® introduces a new series of carbon brake systems.)
